Appear to be equal to the FMA Super Nova 250S. The manual is in German, English, and French. So far, the only annoying feature is the multiple beeping but I haven't looked to see if it can be silenced yet. I also have a Graupner Ultramat 25 peak charger and agree with DS's comments.
It's a nice simple little charger, easy to use, with not to many complex features. One or two 'beeps' would have been enough. it has an LCD screen of 2 lines, displaying voltage, accumalated current (during charge), and elapsed time.Īnnoying thing is that after each charge it notifies completion of the task by a series of 'beeps'. You have a warning when the car-battery gets below a certain level - you can charge/discharge/cycle, measure potential capacity of a pack, 'level' a pack. You won't even have 3 amps discharge on 7 cells) - You can program the charging and discharging amp (it keeps that setting even after disconnecting from power-source). The more cells you want to discharge the lower the discharge amps (7 cells x 1.2 volt x AMPS = 20 Watt. Note that the discharge of 3A is 'theory' only, since it's max 20W. But it's what you have on a car-battery charger as well (to connect to the car-battery). 'Pinces crocodile': I am not sure what the word is in English. I have an Ultramat 25, and I am only using it to charge 7-8 cells NiCd and NiMh. Maybe this has the same guts as the dymond and the fma supernova 250S? The specs seem to be NiCd, NiMH, Pb-acid 1-25 cells 0.1-5 A charging current, with upper limit depending on cell count 0.1-3 A discharge current, max 20W. I see that it has 'pinces crocodile' for connecting to the supply battery, which sounds like a good thing.
I found the manual, but it's in french Can anybody read this? Anybody know anything about the Graupner ultramat 25 charger listed as 'new' at hobby lobby? It looks kind of like the dymond super turbo charger, with 4 buttons on the front, LCD screen, and fan.
